Spencer Brown brings melody, groove, and a patient approach to electronic music. His productions move across genre boundaries, while his DJ sets give each room its own experience—from festival appearances to extended sessions that unfold over an entire night.

His breakthrough came in 2014, when Avicii released his Chalice EP on LE7ELS. An opening performance at the Hollywood Bowl led to further dates on Avicii’s North American True Tour. Brown later toured with Above & Beyond and developed a catalog spanning Anjunadeep, Bedrock, Higher Ground, and his own label, diviine.

His albums reflect that same commitment to musical progression. Illusion of Perfection (2018) and Stream of Consciousness (2020) were conceived as continuous mixes, connecting individual tracks into longer listening experiences. His third album, Equanimity (2023), accompanied an extensive international headline tour.

That long-form sensibility also defines his work behind the decks. At Stereo Montreal, Brown has played sets lasting more than nine hours, while his Signature Series explores the possibilities of open-to-close performances. Throughout his work, the emphasis remains on connection: reading the room, shaping its energy, and giving the music space to develop.
