One of electronic music's longest-running institutions is finally heading west. Time Warp will make its Los Angeles debut on November 27 and 28, 2026, bringing the German-born house and techno event to ACE*Mission for a two-day, three-floor edition over Thanksgiving weekend.

The debut expands Time Warp's growing U.S. presence, joining its established New York edition and other American appearances while bringing the standalone festival concept to Southern California for the first time.

Time Warp Brings Its Full Concept to Los Angeles

Founded in Mannheim, Germany, in 1994, Time Warp has spent more than three decades building a reputation around a focused approach to house and techno. Its international editions have expanded the concept well beyond Germany, but the Los Angeles event represents the first time the Time Warp name will anchor a full edition in Southern California.

Rather than adapting the event into a conventional Southern California festival format, the Los Angeles edition is being positioned around the fundamentals that have defined Time Warp internationally: warehouse spaces, powerful sound systems, immersive production and programming centered on underground electronic music.

That approach is particularly notable in Los Angeles, where warehouse events have long played an important role in the city's techno and house culture. ACE*Mission gives Time Warp an industrial setting suited to that identity, with the event taking over multiple warehouse spaces across the property.

A Lineup That Moves Between House, Techno and the Underground

Time Warp's inaugural Los Angeles lineup is broad without abandoning the event's club-focused identity. Established figures including Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Loco Dice and The Martinez Brothers sit alongside a newer generation of artists working across contemporary techno, house and faster club music.

Several of the event's most interesting bookings come in the form of back-to-back sets. D.Dan b2b Freddy K brings together two distinctly different approaches to driving techno, while Dennis Ferrer b2b Skream connects house history with one of electronic music's most versatile selectors.

House Is Just as Important as Techno

Despite Time Warp's deep association with techno, the Los Angeles lineup is not built as a single-genre bill. House occupies a substantial part of the programming through artists including Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers, East End Dubs, Ahmed Spins, Luuk van Dijk, Desiree and the Dennis Ferrer pairing with Skream.

That balance reflects a wider definition of underground dance music than many contemporary techno festivals. Rather than organizing the event around one narrowly defined sound, Time Warp is programming different strains of house and techno across the weekend while maintaining a distinctly dance-floor-oriented identity.

Los Angeles Artists Are Part of the Debut

The lineup also gives the first Los Angeles edition a meaningful local presence. LA-based artists and selectors appear throughout the bill rather than being separated into a token opening slot.
