Head Trip Partners With Apple Music for Global Livestream

Goldenvoice is extending Head Trip beyond the Empire Polo Club. Apple Music will serve as the official livestream partner for the one-time electronic music festival, taking performances from Indio to a global audience on October 10–11, 2026.

According to EDM Identity’s report on the partnership, the Head Trip Apple Music livestream will cover main-stage performances across both days. For fans unable to travel to the desert, the broadcast offers another way to experience a bill led by Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia and Skrillex.

In the announcement, Goldenvoice Senior Vice President Danny Bell said the partnership would bring the event “to a global audience.”

A Festival Audience Beyond Indio

The business significance lies in the audience the partnership can reach. Attending Head Trip requires a festival pass and, for many visitors, transportation and accommodation. A livestream extends the event to viewers who cannot make that trip.

For Goldenvoice, that creates an opportunity to introduce a new festival property beyond its ticket buyers. For Apple Music, it connects the platform’s electronic music programming with performances audiences can follow as they happen.

Apple Music already works across DJ mixes, radio and live electronic music, including relationships with EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland and Framework. Head Trip extends that activity to another festival.

The Head Trip Lineup

Saturday: Calvin Harris, FISHER + Chris Lake as Under Construction, Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, and Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling. Sunday: Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla b2b KETTAMA, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey. Floating Points’ Sunflower Sound System runs all weekend.

Saturday’s program brings Calvin Harris together with Under Construction, the joint project of FISHER and Chris Lake. Peggy Gou plays back-to-back with Four Tet, while Seth Troxler joins Ben Sterling.

Sunday features Swedish House Mafia and Skrillex, alongside Dom Dolla back-to-back with KETTAMA, The Blessed Madonna and DJ Harvey. Floating Points’ Sunflower Sound System is listed across the weekend.

The pairings give the program an additional point of interest beyond individual headline names. Back-to-back performances bring two artists’ selections into the same set, making the collaboration part of the attraction.

Digital Distribution Alongside the Live Event

Head Trip puts an established festival location, internationally recognized artists and a streaming platform into the same project. Its physical audience remains central, but the broadcast gives the event a second route to public attention.

That reach should not be confused with a disclosed financial return. The announcement does not provide partnership terms or audience projections. The opportunity is broader exposure for the festival and its artists; how that translates into future listening or ticket demand remains to be seen.

It also offers a useful comparison with Framework’s expansion of re:frame into a winter series. A recurring event builds its presence through repeated nights in a market. Head Trip’s livestream can give a one-time weekend visibility well beyond the people attending in person.

Passes, Prices and Travel Options

As checked on September 26, 2026, Head Trip’s official pass page lists these options:

  • Two-day GA: Standalone passes and the GA four-pack are marked sold out.
  • Two-day GA + shuttle — $589: Includes admission and Any Time, Any Line shuttle service for both days.
  • Two-day VIP — $899: Includes a main-stage-adjacent area with shaded seating, specialty vendors, flushable restrooms and bars where drinks are purchased separately.

Service fees are included in advertised pass prices; applicable taxes and shipping are additional. The event is 18+.

Other options include car camping at $129 plus the listed occupancy tax, a standalone two-day shuttle pass at $100, and preferred parking at $199. Standard day parking is free. Hotel packages combine lodging and festival passes; camping requires a separate event pass.

Chase Sapphire Reserve benefits were also announced for eligible cardholders, including ticket access and on-site experiences.

Prices and availability can change. Readers should check the official pass page before booking.

When to Watch

The broadcast is scheduled for October 10–11. At the September 25 announcement, detailed tune-in information was still forthcoming.

For Head Trip, the partnership makes global distribution part of the festival’s debut. The audience in Indio will experience the event in person, while Apple Music gives the performances a route beyond the polo grounds.
