Ace Ventura and Ryanosaurus Still Searching PsyTrance track of the Month January 2018 released on Iboga Records.

Iboga Records released the latest single from Ace Ventura and Ryanosaurus on January 26th, 2018. The single, ‘Still Searching,’ has found the jazzy side of progressive psytrance. The track combines jazz melodies with rolling basslines. The result is a dance-worthy tune with just enough twerk to not take itself too seriously.

There is a bonus in the funky techno version, ‘Stomping Ground.’
You can listen to both below.

Cazztek If You Really Wanna House Music Track of the Month January 2018

Cazztek If You Really Wanna House Music Track of the Month January 2018 featured lyricist Kiyoshi. This house track was released on January 12, 2018, on Tchami’s label, Confession.

Cazztek described the track as follows:

I had such a strong response with ‘Came To Get Funky’ that I wanted to take the core of the sound design I created with it and push the envelope even further, while also using an unusual element that makes you try to figure out if it’s a fluke or some sort of pitched brass, which interjects a middle eastern flare to the beat. Fuse it with some lyrical hip-hop flow from the mastermind Kiyoshi and you’ve got something no one’s ever heard before. When I showed this to Tchami for consideration on Confession, it was an immediate ‘Yes.’

Alex O’Rion Wisteria Progressive House

Hernan Cattaneo’s label, Sudbeat Music started 2018 with a bang. Our progressive house track of the month for January 2018 is Alexander van Schooneveld’s, aka Alex O’Rion’s ‘Wisteria’ topped Beatport’s Progressive House chart for January 2018. The Dutch DJ Producer made his mark releasing trance tracks on Black Hole Recordings and Magik Muzik.

2017 appeared to be a break out year for Alex. He debuted at El Paradis, Ibiza. He performed at the Ultra Sonic Festival, Holland and Fabric Club, the Czech Republic throughout the summer. He secured appearances at Nature One Festival, Germany, Trancefusion, the Czech Republic, and Ministry of Sound, London.

His 2018 EP, ‘Wisteria’ contains three progressive house tracks, ‘Wisteria,’ ‘The Sirenum Scopuli,’ and Muriwai.’ The title track, ‘Wisteria,’ described as

Cleverly arranged tribal drums marks opener ‘Wisteria’ out before the melodic elements drive the track ever forwards. The main break serves as a brief respite before warped synth madness draws us back under its spell.

Parity Saturn Trance Music Release of the Month January 2018

Track of the Month for January 2018. A genuinely global duo, Parity is the collaborative project of Prateek Chaudhary and Gabriel Hochstatter. They met at school in London. Their sound is a unique fusion of house, electro, and trance & progressive.

Their latest release, and first on Andy Moor’s AVA Recordings, ‘Saturn’ is a progressive trance track. Indeed, a well-produced beautiful track influenced by electro trance. It possesses the elements of a pumping kick drum, heavy bassline, with an epic breakdown. The anthemic energy builds to a climax and releases you into a mesmerizing emotional state.

Cosmic melodies soar and lift the listener as they craft a beautiful journey through progressive trance. Something perfect for any time of the night!

Noisily Festival 2018

Ethos and Vibe

Noisily doesn’t take itself too seriously, and neither do the 4,000 people who descend on The Coney Woods each July. It’s and pure fun in all its forms. Noisily is an alternative to mainstream festival culture. It is an inclusive haven where underground music thrives and self-expression flourishes.

While rooted in the electronic music scene, Noisily is a holistic environment which feeds the mind, body, and soul. It’s a celebration of psychedelic culture in a society which is increasingly looking inward for happiness and fulfillment.

Music

When it comes to music Noisily likes to keep it underground. Which isn’t to say you won’t find some industry legends on the lineup, the kind who’ve shaped the sounds of entire genres such as LTJ Bukem, Congo Natty and System 7.

There is no such thing as VIP at Noisily. Well, there is, but it stands for Very Important People and includes everyone at the festival.

Across the three main stages, two satellite stages, and a collection of hidden venues throughout the woods, you can experience the entire spectrum of electronic music. Outside of the woods in our Mind Body Soul healing area there are even some acoustic and live performances as well.

Noisily Stage

The Noisily Stage, flagship of the festival, gives equal standing to Techno and House legends alongside a host of up and coming artists from around the world. Epic laser shows, laser cut pyramids and geometric triangles surround the dance floor, while quadraphonic sound encompasses the blissed up ravers.

Liquid Stage

The Liquid Stage is the undisputed UK Psy Trance Mecca. Psychedelic artists from far-flung corners of the planet come together each July, playing to a crowded dance floor from 11 am to at 4 am daily. The beautiful CNC frontage carved by long-term Noisily artistes Daz and Charlie grows every year, as the evolution of the hallowed floor continues.

Purveyors of The Gallop since Liquid joined us in 2014 have included Tristan, Human Element, Zen Mechanics, Lucas, Emok, Phaxe, Morten Granau, Laughing Buddha, Beardy, Avalon, Earthling, Ajja, Dick Trevor, Burn in Noise, 4D, Atmos, E.V.P., Grouch, Regan, Merkaba, Parasense, Loud, Outsiders, Sonic Species, JOOF & Bumbling Loons.

Treehouse Stage

The Treehouse Stage kicked off in 2017 like never before. A redesigned stage frontage, epic lighting show, and a mandatory 1m diameter disco ball. The diverse line-up could win an award for ‘Diversity in Bass Music,’ if there were such a thing.

The Treehouse is the oldest structure at the festival, erected in early 2012. It has seen more action than Hugh Hefner (R.I.P). Historic Beatsmiths include Congo Natty, Beardyman, MC Xander, Grouch in Dub, Specimen A, Atomic Drop, Gaudi, LTJ Bukem, Koan Sound, Audio and The Prototypes.

Tickets are still available, and there will be announcements shortly of additional talent.
